i luck my key in the car, how do i open 2009 passat car?...  i mistakely luck my key inside my passat car, 2009 model. please how can i open the door of the said car.

3)   Bar will not work, in modern cars, taking that You have got central locking and dead locking.
Use spare key, emegency services if You lucky and left window slightly open- use it.

4)   if you can get hold of some wooden wedges like door stops or sumthing alike slip/knock these in the top of the door frame till you have enough gap so you can get a piece of stiff wire/metal coat hanger throught to the door handle pull it and it should unlock the door or if you can pull the pin to unlock it do that but this is ussally more difficult to get hold of. or would the electrice windows work? try and get the switch for the windows. good luck - Jason Still

5)   Call your VW dealer to see if they can come up with a key quickly - failing that you will have to break a window so choose the smallest side window - Timbo is here

6)   Where is your spare key ? You can try a roadside assistance if your a member. Forget the piece of wire etc as you will find the car is deadlocked. If you break a window at the back you will still not get the door open. The door locks are shrouded so you will not get a wire down to hook them open. The best you can do is smash a window adjacent to where the key is. If you have to break a window wear gloves and cover the area with parcel tape so glass does not get everywhere, use a sharp pointed object to break the window. - L G

Regular Or Premium Gas Difference?...  i am looking to buy a 2005 Volkswagen GTI 1.8T i was wondering it says premium fuel only! i was wanting to know what happens if you put regular in there. i have a friend that has a 2004 Subaru Forester and it calls for premium but he has never put premium always reg someone help me clear this up i dont want to ruin a very nice car. best answer goes to most informative... thanks in advance

1)   If the manufacturer says to put premium only, then I would follow their guidelines. They created the vehicle to run on that grade of gas. Doing so results in the best running scenario of the vehicle as well as the longest life out of the vehicle. The engine components are built to run on a cleaner fuel. If you decide to use lower grade, it may run okay for a long time, or it may start having problems right away. I doubt the car will run at its potentially, though, without premium. Lower grade gas, in general, can cause a lot of issues in cars. - d_monie3

2)   In reality, premium fuel doesn't help with performance. If it is recommended, then use premium fuel. If you use lower-octane fuel, you are risking your car's engine as it may detonate prematurely, which can blow your head gasket. - Ali K

3)   well premium has a higher octane rating. ( how much the fuel can be compressed before it spontaneously ignites. When gas ignites early by compression rather than because of the spark from the spark plug, it causes knocking in the engine. Knocking can damage an engine, so it is not something you want to have happening) the engine is designed to run on premium so you will get more power and better fuel economy with premium, if you really want to run regular, which might cause your engine to feel "sluggish". i would pour a can of "sea foam" (about $9 at walmart) in the gas every now and then to help keep the engine clean but thats with any engine.

what looks better, a scion xD or a vw Golf?...  Based on looks, what do you think looks better? And which do you think is more customizable?

1)   Well I would say the Golf as I prefer "understated" looks. The Golf can have all sorts done to it in an effort to ruin that understated appearance ! - L G

2)   I heard that Ray Charles had a Scion xD drive by once and he was overheard saying "DAMN that thing is ugly!"

Seriously though, an xD is a toaster on wheels. There's nothing attractive about any Scion. They are just gussied up Corollas and Yaris'. - Sean

3)   Lol Sean DEFINITELY. Anybody who knows cars and even most who don't realize that Scion is crap. The Golf is 100x nicer and better looking, performs better stock, and is much easier to customize. Nothing like German handling. - nick u

4)   Scions don't have shit! Especially since the engines suck! There's a reason scions are only sold in america, it's because americans are the only ones dumb enough to buy them. Go golf I bought the base model versus the GTI and its amazing. And even if your going all looks just look up some done up mk6 golfs and you'll see why people love v-dubs so much. And if your going to be a tuner go v-dub for the community. The japanese scene isn't very friendly and its alot about racing. Try going to a euro meet and then a JDM meet. You'll see the difference in not only the people but the cars too. I'm not saying all JDM people are bad or the cars are ugly but there are alot of ricers out there that ruin the scene and give honda and other japanese brands a bad name. Go golf in my opinion I almost choose a tc and thank god I did my research first! - Crash

1)   03 audi what? which model?

The audi a4 has a completely different front. the fenders go down a lot further and the headlights have a different shape than the jettas. swapping the whole front end such as fenders, lights and hood might be a different story - DL

3)   If you want to buy another vw then, if you can find one, a jetta gti is a good bet but so is a passat! If you're not bothered about sticking with the same manufacturer, a Focus, 3 series BMW or, (sorry about this folks) again if you can find one, a Sierra xr4x4i! You'll find the latter will increase in value 10 fold over the year (if you look after it). If you just want an economical 4/5 door though, a Golf or, better still, a 1.4 Polo. - steve p
