Question 5
I have 1974 Volkswagen Beetle. I used the water pressure to clean the dirty engine out.?...  What if I use the water pressure to clean the diry engine then what happen?

Answers
1)   I do hope you mean clean the outside. Just be careful not to get any water into the electrical or fuel system. You would do well to use an engine cleaning product according to the container directions for the best results. - Otto

2)   what do you mean by water pressure?
there's a way to clean a car's cylinders with water, you get a spray bottle and fill it with warm water, and
start the car, and remove the air filter and spray the water in the intake. keep spraying regularly, but not too fast. keep doing this and it will clean your cylinders.

just remember, don't pour water or spray too fast - Eduardo S

3)   i really hope you're talking about the outside of the block. but you'd be much better off just picking up some engine de-greaser from a parts store, a whole bottle is less than $5. spraying a hose inside your engine compartment is never a good idea, especially if you hit the distributor. - James Dean

4)   I used to pressure wash my engine with a steam pressure hose and some nasty acid you put in the soap to burn off the old oil and dirt and some uncovered skin also. What I learned is to let it dry. but before that even ,pop the distribute cap off. Let it thoroughly dry out. Otherwise the moisture in the cap, if left wet will not let your car start. The pressure wash will destroy any paper heater hoses and will deteriorate over time the cloth covering on the fuel lines and other tubing in and around the engine, But, otherwise, I had no problems - dewhatulike
