Question 3
Volkswagen Passat 2009/2010?...  Are volkswagen cars good?? I recently looked at an 09 and a 10 and loved how they look. But i am not too worried about looks. The 2009 is gonna cost me an even 25,000....is that a good deal?? and the 2010 came out 1,000 dollars cheaper than the 09, and the salesman doesn't know why. But I need a new car. I live in Fl and might be traveling up north for school in 1-2 years. So, is the car reliable? How is mileage? And How is repair and cost? Or should I look into a Honda Accord?? Any other suggestions, I am looking for a car in the 21,000 range...Thank You!

Answers
1)   excellent cars but get a good VW specialist to look after it, american mechanics can ruin a german car in an hour - Harley Drive

2)   The passat is excellent. any passat newer than 05 will be very reliable. any reliability issues you may have heard pertains to the older ones. VW raised prices in 06 on the passat and sales dropped. thats probably the reason for the price drop. 09 or 10 has free maintenance up to 30000 miles. also it has a 10000 mile service interval instead of 5000. mileage will be in the mid 20s up to 30 mpg. you will enjoy this car over any other make. compare details like the gaps in the panels and interior finish. the passat blows the accord out of the water. - MUSTANGGT351

3)   Almost Any VW murders a Honda Accord when you compare. Everything about a VW, from the way it handles, performs, and looks is just better in every way to a Honda Accord. When you throw in the fact that the Passat is one of the best cars VW makes then its not even a real choice. - Mike
