I really don't understand why you need a vehicle to announce to anyone that you are happy. So, none of the above..
oklatom

For a girl, a Dodge Ram 3500 with dual rear wheels. For a guy, the Mini, or maybe a Mazda Miata.
RDG78

You didn't list the correct one, the Mazda Miata.
Peedlepup

what about a bumber sticker that say " i gay". or maybe a rainbow ?
driver36869

I'd go with a pink Miata...cabriolets are pretty chicky too but they don't really scream "I'm gay!"
Oryx

None of the Above. The correct answer is Subaru Forrester!!
dimwittedmoose51

out of the ones you listed c would be the best choice. have you considered a toyota yaris or prius?
mlsilver21

I'd say all 5 of them, except aircooled Volkswagens. You get an aircooeld Volkswagen to say "Mom, dad, little bro, sis...I'm a real man who can drive a stick and work on my car myself instead of bringing it to a garage".
Prime

hey!! dont talk about the old bugs.. but the new ones are ok to talk bad about.. go with the new beetle

[Best Answer]I have a 1973 and a 1956. Both are completely stock and restored. I bought the 73 when I was 14, and the 56 when I was 15. I'm now 16. I use the 73 as my daily driver, and the 56 I bring to shows. I also bring the 73 to shows, just the 56 gets all the awards (the 73 did get a couple trophies before). The 73 is orange with black interior and the 56 is light blue with white interior.

probably the best list is Samba. You just need to get more specific when dealing with e-bay. To get better results pick a year- say 1965- then camper, then air-cooled and ask for exact phrase. E-bay is getting really hard to find stuff on lately. It;s like they have 4 search engines and none talk to one another.

Samba is more refined.

Craigslist or http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/cat.php?id=5
Jack D

you can google your state or city and vw bus and should get some hits, remember this bus is slow as dirt but cool as heck.
kreekatt

Samba is definitely reputable, but there's a maillist at www.aaircooled.net and another at www.type2.com(or net or org., forget which) that focus on the older VW buses. I owned a 1960 Kombi(the stripped down model) that I paid $3.61 for back in the early 70's and it ran. Kinda wish I still had it with what folks are getting price-wise for them now. They're not really daily drivers anymore as the 4 wheel drum brakes and reduction gears in the back axle make them noisy, scary to stop in a rainstorm, and they blow around in crosswinds enough to give most folks an increase in blood pressure.. They are cool however.

Good luck with your search.

Is the '66 VW bug with a 1600 engine worth buying?

I used to have a '64 bug and enjoyed it. I could do all the maintenance then. I have found a '66 with a 1600 engine. I'm not familiar with this engine. What is the horse power and what kind of mileage would it get driving normally? Is $1,500 a good price for one that runs and is a Calif. vehicle?

YES, YES AND MORE OF YES! GET THAT CAR! GREAT DEAL ALL THE WAY AROUND! i'M JEALOUS.
To love is to live

The motor is much the same as the 64 just a bit larger. The 1600 had about 86hp. That is a very good price.
uthockey32

engines are very much alike but yeah.. for a running 66 thats a steal.. if i had 1500 then id buy it but. wont get a much better deal than that. but check last time it was registered
Jack D

That's an aftermarket engine. You don't know what that engine is in any way. It could be anything. I'd say buy it and install an OEM engine.

WHERE ON THE NET CAN I BUY AN AFTERMARKET CLUTCH KIT FOR A 05 VW TOUAREG 2.5 TDI?

Ebay
S

why not try a parts store would be cheap as an dwouldnt have to pay shipping but if you type into searchbox

05 VW TOUAREG parts
05 VW TOUAREG clutch parts
should find a place that sells them which wil be most parts stores
kelly_f_1999

You most likely will not find that on the net. It could be that it is only available from VW as this is a low volume sale car and may be below the level where it is profitable for companies to make them.
You are going to be better off talking to places like Partco or similar motor factors which you will find on yell.com
Timbo is here

Do a search here for what you are looking for:

http://vw.autowerks.com/VW-Parts/Transmission-and-Drivetrain

You should find some cheap options.

How to get the bugs off my car...?

I have used coke, and fabric softener and it does not work does anyone have any suggestions?

Asked by: Cody @ 2009-06-27 08:44:45

well you could always grab about 8 or 10 dollars and head to the car wash. that's what i would do. and if that doesn't work, then grab some car washing supplies and a bucket of soapy water and scrub the car wherever the bugs are. good luck!
soupshoe

Take a bath towel. Dunk it in the sink in hot water. Ring it out and lay it on the bugs for 10 min or so. This will soften the bugs and they wash right off. Repeat if very heavy accumulation of bugs...........md
Uncle Jed

get some greased lightning and spray it on in the shade and let it soak for 5 minutes then wash your car.
smjohnson55

Your not going to belive this but spit is a phenomenal bug remover. Better to use the hot wet towel first.

help me please i have an 07 vw passat with 6 months warranty left today i got the rear passenger wheel bearing?

replaced and took the car for a drive and the humming whirring noise was still there so i went back to the garage right away and they said to get new tyres on so i did and the noise is still there does anyone else have this problem in the current passat range would it just be road noise when i bought the car from a vw dealer i asked was the car ever hit they said no but i have my suspicions

Get a 2nd opinion from a different VW dealer. Don't complain about the 1st dealer. Just take it in, tell them you hear this noise, and see what they say. They'll see the repair info in the computer, but keep it MUM anyway.
Rudy H

Be persistent for 6 months. The problem is not fixed. It should be covered by the warranty. After that sell it or live with the noise.
tichur

Sounds like they could talk you into just about anything. Did you need tires? I would say probably not on a 2007 car unless you have been really hard or driven a LOT of miles. Is this noise new or has it been with the car since you bought it? There seems to be some of the story missing. Please add details.
Marc

This is a common issue on the B6 model Passats. There is an issue with the camber setting of the rear wheels, where the inner edges of the tyres wear right away, giving the same noise as a wheel bearing has gone.Check out the VW Forum web site, where this issue is comprehensively covered, not that VW has ever admitted the problem publicly, although they have sent confidential advice to dealers on how to deal with it. My car had the same problem, so I persisted at my local VW dealer presenting them with the evidence I had collected, until they sorted it free of charge.
